Coconut Shrimp


This shrimp is delicious with lots of new flavor. It's fried in coconut oil that gives it a unique touch. It goes very well with angel hair pasta. This is the perfect quick meal that anyone can enjoy.



Prep time: 10 minutes Cook time: 10 minutes



Ingredients

  • 16 oz (1 pound) Cooked shrimp

  • 2 Tbsp butter

  • 3 Tbsp coconut oil

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 2 tsp dry basil

  • 2 tsp Mrs. Dash

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley for topping (optional)



Instructions

  1. Wash shrimp and pinch off tails.

  2. Set medium size skillet on high heat.

  3. Add in butter and 16 oz (1 pound) of cooked shrimp.

  4. Add in 1 tsp paprika, 2 tsp dry basil, 2 tsp Mrs. Dash, salt, and pepper.

  5. Mix constantly until most of the butter is absorbed into the shrimp.

  6. Add in 3 Tbsp of coconut oil. Cook for another 5 minutes, constantly stirring so the shrimp doesn’t burn.
