Classic Ground Beef Tacos


As the days are getting warmer and spring is approaching, eating meals outside are always a great idea! These fully loaded Beef Tacos are perfect for just that! These Beef Tacos are perfectly spiced and topped to everyone's choice of liking; lettuce, tomatoes, onions, extra cheese, avocados, ranch… etc. This dish is well loved in my family, we have a buffet of vegetables that suits everyone and we always enjoy an evening in the backyard filled with laughter and tacos!





Prep Time:10 Minutes Cook Time: 15 Minutes



Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80% lean 20% fat)

  • 1 pack taco seasoning mix

  • Fresh cilantro, chopped

  • 1/3 cup tomato sauce

  • 1 medium garlic clove, minced

  • 1 Tbsp heavy whipping cream

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

  • 1 pack soft tortillas

  • Lettuce, chopped, topping

  • Tomatoes, chopped into cubes, topping

  • Cheddar cheese, topping

  • Sour cream, topping

  • Green onions (optional)




Instructions

  1. Over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Once cooked spill out any extra fat.

  2. Add 1/3 cup Tomato sauce, 1 Tbsp heavy whipping cream, 1 pack taco seasoning mix, minced garlic, chopped cilantro and salt & pepper to taste. Simmer for 10 minutes.

  3. Warm up your soft taco in the oven or microwave.

  4. Add ground beef, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, green onions, and sour cream. (you can choose any other toppings to your liking, these were the toppings on my taco!)
