Caramelized Salmon


Salmon has so many rich, and juicy flavors on its own. The simple technique of marinating the salmon with onions and garlic just adds an astonishing flavor. The caramelized onions add a sweet tang that has you coming back for more!



Most enjoyable with:

  • Rice

  • noodles

  • ranch

  • hot sauce

  • simply on its own





Ingredients for this recipe:

  • Salmon (I had 3 slices and cut them in half)

  • 1/2 Onion, thinly sliced

  • 2 Garlic Cloves, minced

  • 1/2 teaspoon Lemon Juice

  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon 21 Seasoning Salute

  • 1/2 teaspoon Mrs. Dash

  • 1/4 cup Ranch

  • 1 Tablespoon Olive or Vegetable Oil



Instructions:

  1. Wash and pat salmon dry.

  2. In a large bowl combine salmon, sliced onion, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, 21 seasoning salute, Mrs. Dash, and ranch. Gently mix together and set in fridge for 30 minutes to marinate.

  3. Preheat oven to 350* F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and sprinkle some oil onto pan.

  4. Gently place marinated salmon with onions onto pan and bake for 35-40 minutes.
